Taking part in coaching or counselling sessions alongside horses is a truly transformational experience. Therapy with horses is a relatively new approach which is proving itself daily in dealing with PTSD, trauma and self-confidence. It is also a therapeutic experience for individuals with learning disabilities. In the sessions you get to become part of the herd and it is in this space that you can learn about yourself, find your inner strength and learn ways to truly re-connect with yourself and the people around you.

Who can the sessions help?
  • Do you find yourself struggling with self belief and consistently talking yourself out of doing the things the you want to achieve?

  • Do you have trouble maintaining your emotional boundaries with the people around you at either work or home?

  • Do you lack confidence in making and following through with decisions?

  • Do you struggle to make yourself heard or clearly communicate your feelings or ideas to the people you are closest to?

  • Do you lack connection with your real feelings and struggle to understand your deepest fears?

If the answer is  YES  then these sessions are for you...

Through interaction with the horses in these sessions you will learn to:

  • Improve your relationships with family or colleagues

  • Access your intuition and inner wisdom

  • Connect to your authentic self and find your true direction in life

  • Learn tools to manage your emotional energy and achieve inner peace

What happens in the sessions?

Individual sessions with the horses are an hour in duration and tailored to your specific needs and experience. Often the horse will sense what is needed and these sessions are very much about spending time with the horse and allowing yourself to be present in the one and seeing what comes up.  Activities with the horses can include: Meet the herd, grooming, open space work and task based activities.

Do I need riding experience?

There is no riding involved and you do not need to have any prior experience with horses.

All individual sessions are facilitated by Jacqui herself with the assistance of one or more horses.

What if I'm scared of horses?

All of our horses have impeccable manners and love people. Whatever your level of horse knowledge you will be given a thorough safety briefing before being introduced to the horses and will be supervised at all times. That being said whilst you are interacting with the horse and dependant on what you would like to achieve we hope that you will overcome any fears and walk away having found a new understating of these wonderful animals which has laid rest any fears you may arrived with.
